The special TB meeting is to discuss the Sea Breeze Water District as well as call for two public hearings for the sewer and drainage components of the Capital Improvement Plan at the Sept. 20th meeting.
Anonymous, September 14th there is a master plan meeting at 7pm that is up on the calendar.
I emailed the entire Town Board yesterday afternoon. I had questions about what the special Town Board meeting was about on the 8th?
I also had questions about the June 21st TB meeting regarding Medley Centre. Specifically when the Supervisor said, "there's a current bill in the State Legislature's ways and means committee in Albany that could have an impact on the project."
Since we can't find a bill that looks like it would impact Medley, we need more information.
I asked questions asking what bill she was talking about? If it will have an impact on the Medley project and will it enforce the P.I.L.O.T. agreement?
So far, I have only heard from one TB member, Paul Marasco. He wrote and told me that the special meeting is regarding Seabreeze Water District. Since my email yesterday, the Town website was updated late with that information as Jax has put on the blog.
I want to thank Paul for being the ONLY TB member to get back to me. I'm still hoping he isn't the only one. We'll see.
My questions re Medley were directed to the Supervisor because she is the one who mentioned the bill when Councilman Marasco made the motion to take a stronger position with Medley.
So we are waiting for answers and I'll let you know if and when we get them.
Update - I heard from Stephanie Aldersley by email this afternoon. She said that she did think that the special TB meeting would be televised.
She also said Congel’s bill is dead. It may never have made it to the floor (stalled in committee).
I also received a phone call from Deb Essley to discuss these issues. I already knew what the special TB meeting was about. She said that MJD would know more than she would about the Congel bill. I did take the opportunity to discuss my feelings on how public input was handled this past month.
So 3 board member's have been in touch and I thank them all for making the effort to give us information. :)

If that is true, (and I don't think it is - I don't think there ever was a bill that would have an impact on Medley) then there would still be a bill number and a sponsor of the bill.
I would like to know, what was the bill number and who was the sponsor?

I have an email to all 5 board member's asking what the agenda of this special meeting is and if it will be televised?

I hope it's something else...but...I wonder what could be so important to call a STBM? Especially just before the Primary!
