On Primary Day (that the powers that be didn't plan on coming in to play).

How nice.

I'm still confused on why the planning board is handling this instead of the zoning board right now. It's about rezoning it from R1 to R7, right?

How can this application be ready for planning to do a site walk when it hasn't even been rezoned to R7 (yet).

Well I guess the Planning Boards' handling of the Newport application has given the Town Board confidence that it will be handled properly....not!

Wonder when they'll give them the next 6 month extension?

Had to approve Newport so fast because they've been waiting years for the approval. Another hurry up and wait project. Yippee!

....and I STILL don't know what the height of the condos are going to be......

At least Hintenach isn't the Chairman anymore!

That Newport Plan never did meet all the Town's requirements either. There was one Planning Board that called them on it but he got stifled by the other members. What a joke.

Guess it doesn't really matter who is chairman when someone else is running the show....coughaurelicough.

The one planning board member was asked by the Chair if he had any comments/questions.....and when he stated his concerns, he was accused of finding darts (by the Chairman).

Ridiculous.

Really weird that a site walk is being done now.

The 2 applications that had site walks when I was on the board both happened well after the plan was reviewed publicly.

I'm hearing that a new plan has come in to Town Hall but who has it? The public sure doesn't.

In the past the procedure was review the application at a televised meeting and then schedule a site walk.

This plan has been handled backwards from the beginning. More of the same. The planning board already gave it a HUGE stamp of approval even though NO board member's spoke about anything substantive at the meeting. It's pretty, it's beautiful, it's nice, blah, blah, blah.

How about that the recommended zoning change was for a proposal that did not meet minimum land requirements within town code; nor did they inform the Town Board the requested density was not within, or close to, town zoning code requirements!?!?

But it's pretty...

Hey, Aureli what are you getting paid for? Not giving advice! I wonder....

Oh yes, another extension for Newport. Nothing is happening down there, another whole building season.

Doesn't matter if we never got a straight answer on the height or that the RSM attorney wrote up the findings for our attorney who remains nameless. It's still going to be pretty, gorgeous, beautiful...

It's a miracle that Newport Road hasn't washed away yet....

Must be all of those Russians playing roulette protecting it. ;)

Drizio and Essley refused to show the public the sketches at their pubic hearing. They disregarded procedure regarding zoning change; and complained when a resident said it was commercial.
The neighborhood was attacked by daurizio/essely under the false premise that "Planning" would solve all the issues. After complaining so loud about the cell tower back room deal why did daurizio/essley attack the people on the east side of town.

Does anyone know who works for Passero that's on the PB?

They were on the stat counter today looking at the pretty pictures on the blog.
