Did we call this or what? A public hearing about the Legacy almost on top of Christmas.

Ho, Ho, Ho how predictable and pathetic!

I hope that neighborhood packs that room even though it's on top of Christmas!

You'd think that the December 19th planning board meeting would even be cancelled due to being on top of the holiday but NO!

So disappointed but I knew they would do this. I could see it a mile away...

I believe you called it first! You win! :)

Well, they do have to carry on the business of the Town - and while they could have waited until after the New Year arrives to handle this issue - why would they want to do that when it's been a done deal?

They are going to approve it no matter what, so.....now or then....doesn't really matter, does it?

I hope the residents off of Titus get a nice Christmas present for the Town. An elegantly wrapped Article 78 with a shiny bow! :)

I totally agree with you Jax. Legacy has been a done deal from the beginning.

It's pretty transparent at meetings when they speak so critically about the "evil" cell tower but when it's about the Legacy certain board members are gushing and not asking any pertinent questions.

Then there is a planning site walk with police escorts and no plan per Stephanie. Site walks with no plans. (((WHAT!?!?!)))

Cell tower - BAD!

Legacy - GOOD!

Keep repeating...

town code-------------------

(1) The Town Board will be the lead agency for the determination of environmental significance and consistency for the following actions:

(a) Adoption, amendment or change of zoning and land use regulations or special use permits pursuant to § 235-28 of Chapter 235, Zoning.

HOw does town board pass the durizio deal to planning board if town code says only town board can do this?

why didn't durizio make the decision for an investigation like she did on the small cell pole? Maybe verizon didn't give any contributions or is not a member of the club.

Durizio said she wanted to hire engineers to look at it but when she had the chance to order it she found a way to pass it off.
