I was checking out some things on
the Monroe County website, and wanted to share this helpful tool that they have on there.
On the main page there is a heading that says "How Do I......" and under that, about 7 down, is "view/pay taxes online". If you click on that, it will take you to the "real property portal", click on "I Agree", and you can view tax histories and tax bills for any residential or commercial property in Monroe County after you enter the pertinent information.
Of Course, I thought of Medley Centre - but when I typed in the address of 285 Medley Centre Pkwy 14622 - there were no records. You can also search by Parcel ID #.....but I didn't know it, and when trying to think of where I could find that out - I remembered the PILOT had a list on there.
So, I entered each tax parcel ID # for commercial property, and a page comes up listing all of the taxes for school, town, and county - and you can click on the link at the bottom to see "Property Detail", "Tax History", and "Payment History". There are other links at the top of each page that take you to the "School Tax Statement", "Combined Town and County Tax Statement", "HTML", "Duplicate School Statement", and "Duplicate Combined Statement".
I have provided a link to each parcel ID#, and then I have put a screen shot up of the 2009 Combined Town/County Tax Statement.

You can also view the payment history for each parcel too (click on blue box with "payment history" at the bottom of the page), which I thought was interesting as it goes back a few years, and on some parcels it goes back a decade or more. This shows any penalties/interest, and fees on these pages as well.

***Unfortunately, none of the links to the documents work, I imagine they "timed out". Feel free to visit the "Real Property Portal" yourselves and copy/paste any of the parcel ID#'s into the correct box, and make sure you select "Irondequoit" for municipality, and submit. The pages will come up and they will show you tax payment histories if you select that. Sorry for the confusion!****
I just thought this was a neat tool to use for taxpayers. You can get a good idea on what taxes there are on any residence in any town in Monroe County, and any commercial properties too. You can compare houses, malls, stores....whatever you want.
This might be a good link to put on the Irondequoit Town Website for residents to access to pay/view their taxes online, as they may not know that they can do this at the County Website.
