I finally got a hold of the rest of the pages,
and can see who the letter was from.
You can't tell by the letter, but I'm sure they are very nice people. They just like to write nasty letters to the paper and to the Supervisor about Richard Barone and the "group of people who hold the town hostage".
lol I always get a kick outta that one. Yeah. They are such a group of terrorists who take the town hostage by collecting signatures to force the town to have a referendum on leasing space for the senior center.
I honestly looked at the bottom of the letter to see if Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld had signed it. They didn't.
The best part is when they talk about all the "misinformation" given out by "Richard Barone and his associates". Richard Barone wasn't the one who told people that the town only owned the building and 5ft. of land around it. He wasn't the one who wrote a letter to the IPost saying that the town owns only the building and not the land around it, they don't own the parking lot and it was a land locked building. He wasn't the one who sent an e-mail to everyone saying that there was no room to expand at all because the town doesn't own the land around the building. He wasn't the one who claimed Pinegrove was unsafe for people.
Another resident had also given the town the same exact proposal that these people are suggesting, and the Supervisor told him that his suggestions were not feasible and had no basis in fact.....but now these people submit the same proposal, and it's in the Master Plan already.
It's not ok for Barone to do it, but it is ok for these people to do the same things that they claim Barone did in taking the town hostage. lol It makes me laugh every time.
