Why hasn't demolition started?
According to the PILOT agreement, demolition was supposed to have started 60 days from the entitlement date, which was April 7th, 2009. Link to blog about PILOT.
Why hasn't Congel paid the $500,000 he was supposed to pay on the entitlement date?
I had thought that Congel would pay lower taxes under the current agreement until 2016.....but it turns out it is until 2019.
Tax breaks for.......no demolition. No finances secured. No construction. No jobs.
