FOI Request For Apprenticeship Law Info:
An FOI request was sent in to the Town on 8/19 - requesting the information that John Perticone said he "had enough of" to abstain from voting to keep the Public Hearing open 30 more days.
I remember the Supervisor saying at the meeting on 7/21 that she wanted to keep the Public Hearing open longer to share information.
Since no information was shared, except the text of the apprenticeship law on the website 10 days AFTER the public hearing......we wanted to see what the information was that they looked at.
The FOI request was denied for a number of reasons.
The most interesting reason, in my opinion, is the first one.
The documentation constitutes intra-agency material that is not:
1) Statistical or factual tabulations of data.
Surprised? Not me.
