Do's and Don'ts
Oh September – with your trees a canopy of colors,
Starting to change like rainbow ribbons above my sun-kissed summer hair,
The cooler breezes a whisper in the air,
Calling to me like lost loved ones from long ago.
You seem familiar-and I embrace you like an old friend.
You like that? Is that positive enough for you? Is it sunny, happy shit that makes you giggle and say “wow, now we can move the town forward because she is being positive and not political”?

Petitions
In one of Oh, Irondequoit's blogs, there was mention of being able to view petitions.
I don't have all of them (yet) but I do have some.
First page is below, and the other 11 you can read if you click on "read more below the fold".

Campaign Buttons
I'm feeling a little squirrelly today. I don't feel like being serious, so.....I won't be.
When looking up campaign buttons, I thought: "What kind of buttons would I make for the Supervisor?"
You can assume that they aren't very positive buttons. So, if you are offended by "negativity" - don't click on the buttons. You'll be upset. Save yourself and don't click on them!
Better yet.....anyone can go to the link I went to and make their own buttons.

Property Taxes Were NOT Reduced 10%
Heyman's page.
"Reduced the growth of property taxes by 30 percent
In 2008, the town tax rate was reduced 10 percent!"
According to this article in MPNnow from Nov. '08, the Supervisor and Comptroller ended up admitting that reducing the tax rate by that much wasn't the smartest thing to do, because then it affects the next years budget that much more......and then ya gotta do some creative accounting to make it all work out.

Blogger's Remorse Hits Again!
ANOTHER blog's commentary has mysteriously disappeared from the un-biased, un-tainted, non-political, real-stuff blog!
Is there a glitch in that system?
It looks like it was modified today at 2:53 PM.
