Fund Balance Goes Bye-Bye!
Under the watchful, fiscal eye of the current administration....a resolution was passed to keep the fund balances at 5%-20% of the operating budget. I remember the meeting where they made a HUGE deal of keeping that fund balance over 5% for the health of the town and to also help the credit rating.

Blast From The Past......
Remember, back in March, I did a blog about a page that was found in the copier at Town Hall? This one.
I finally got a hold of the rest of the pages,

Hypocrisy
It seems Joe Morelle can talk the talk - he just doesn't walk the walk when it comes to following his strict guidelines about political mailers and political signs.
That's just typical, hypocritical Joe for ya.
Too bad that he'll probably be elected Supervisor and Town Board again on Tuesday. ;)
Remember during the primary

Bedtime For Bonds-O
Forget that old "Bedtime for Bonzo" comedy from years ago......this.....THIS is true comedy. Although, it really isn't that funny when you think about it.

I-Post Goodies
A lot of "good stuff" in today's I-Post. A Q&A featuring each candidate responding in 100 words or less, a sampling of their ideas, and comments on issues facing the town.
Unfortunately, Deborah Essley's comments seem to have been edited even though

True Statement Of Facts?
Someone in the comments section of David Andreatta's online article about Congel mentioned the first couple of pages of the PILOT, and also a resident had pointed this out to me about a week ago.
The first page declares that construction commenced early 2009, and on the second page Michael Townsend - the COMIDA attorney - signed and verified that this was a true statement of fact.

Fee Foil Fo' Medley
A while ago, I put up a FOI about the attorney and engineering fees associated with the Medley Centre from 2007 to present.
Apparently, there were no documents to show fees

Speaking Of Multi-Million Dollar Developers......
When is that particular developer, who came bearing promises and concepts and walked away with COMIDA and PILOT deals, going to start demolition?
In August, I wondered when demolition would start since according to the final PILOT agreement, it should have started sometime in June. It is now October, and still no demolition.
Where is that $500,000 payment he was supposed to make on April 7th - the entitlement date? Again....it's October....and this payment hasn't been made as per the final PILOT agreement.
Kinda hard to finesse the budget without it, eh?
Link to final P.I.L.O.T. agreement.

2010 Preliminary Budget?
I'm getting e-mails about the tentative 2010 Budget. Irondequoit has, in the past, been very timely in getting the preliminary budget "in" by the end of September. This year seems to be a little different.
I was looking at other towns/villages and
